TEMPERATURE INSTRUMENTATION
TEMPERATURE INSTRUMENTATION
Thermal dynamics dictate the efficiency, safety, and product quality of almost every chemical and physical process. We supply a comprehensive range of industrial temperature sensors, thermowells, and transmitters engineered to provide fast response times, exceptional accuracy, and long-term calibration stability in harsh environments.
A thermocouple is a rugged and highly versatile temperature sensor designed to measure extreme heat configurations across demanding industrial environments by generating a voltage proportional to the temperature differential between two dissimilar metals. Because different processing applications require specific thermal and chemical tolerances, we supply and source a comprehensive range of configurations tailored to your exact operational limits. This includes standard base-metal Type J and Type K thermocouples engineered for dependable medium-to-high temperature tracking in kilns, ovens, and pipelines, as well as premium noble-metal Type R, S, and B thermocouples utilizing platinum/rhodium elements for ultra-high temperature monitoring in foundries, glass manufacturing, and heavy furnaces. Available as bare wire elements, mineral-insulated (MI) cables, or complete assemblies with custom process connections and protective junction heads
For advanced automation setups, we supply and source fully integrated temperature assemblies that combine high-precision Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs) with built-in Temperature Transmitters. Utilizing industry-standard Pt100 and Pt1000 platinum elements, these configurations measure thermal shifts with exceptional accuracy and stability. By embedding a compact transmitter directly inside the sensor’s rugged junction head, the raw resistance reading is instantly converted into a robust, interference-free control signal. These smart assemblies are available with modern industrial communication protocols—including 4-20mA analog loops, HART, and Modbus—ensuring seamless integration into your PLC or SCADA network while eliminating the signal degradation caused by long cable runs.
A thermowell is a heavy-duty cylindrical pressure-tight fitting designed to protect temperature sensors—such as RTDs and thermocouples—from the harsh physical forces, high velocities, and corrosive elements of process fluids. By acting as a protective barrier, it allows sensors to be easily removed or replaced for calibration without breaching pipeline containment or shutting down the process. We supply and source a comprehensive range of robust configurations machined from solid bar stock, including threaded, flanged, socket-weld, and weld-in thermowells. Available in straight, stepped, or tapered stem profiles to optimize heat transfer and minimize wake frequency stress, these can be customized in standard stainless steel or exotic alloys to withstand your system's exact pressure, velocity, and chemical demands.
A bimetal thermometer is a rugged, power-free mechanical dial gauge designed for accurate and dependable local temperature monitoring in demanding process environments. Utilizing a highly sensitive helical bimetallic coil that expands predictably under thermal shifts, these instruments provide crisp, real-time visual readings. To accommodate diverse piping and panel layouts, we supply and source an extensive array of industrial configurations. This includes heavy-duty back-connection and bottom-connection rigid stem models, as well as highly versatile every-angle (adjustable) connections. For setups where the dial must be mounted away from extreme heat or vibration, we provide high-precision remote capillary bimetal thermometers. All models are available in industry-standard dial sizes (such as 3", 4", and 5") and can be fully customized across a wide range of temperature spans to fit your exact system specifications.
